MESOTHERAPY IN SOUTHEND-ON-SEA, ESSEX

mesotherapy in Southend-on-Sea

Mesotherapy, otherwise known as the “red carpet facial” is a treatment in which a small number of injections are superficially made in order to deliver skin rejuvenation at the epidermal level. This treatment is fantastic for preparation for weddings and other large events.

What does Mesotherapy do?

Mesotherapy delivers a concoction of vitamins, minerals, peptides, amino acids and hyaluronic acid to the skin that naturally depletes when we age. Mesotherapy helps deliver a “meso glow” which is extremely popular among celebrities.

Is Mesotherapy good for my skin type?

Mesotherapy improves all skin types except active acne and oily skin. It is best for dehydrated skin that lacks radiance.

Are there any restrictions to the treatment?

Yes, if any of the following apply to you, you cannot have mesotherapy:

If you’re currently pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you currently have cancer (you must be 6 months post-radiotherapy/chemotherapy).

If you have recently used Roaccutane (you must be 6-12 months post-use).

Rosacea.

Active acne.

Very oily skin.

Recent laser/ chemical peel treatment (one month).

Active cold sores.

Diabetes (if not controlled by medication or diet).

You must wait 2 weeks after having any botox or filler treatment.

What happens during the treatment?

Mesotherapy is always most effective after an exfoliation. We use a very superficial peel prior to the mesotherapy to ensure the best result. After the injections have been delivered, we use an LED mask to calm the skin. The LED light can be tailored to your skin concern or type.

Is there any downtime?

There is no downtime with mesotherapy. It is a safe, effective, results-driven treatment that offers many benefits.
