Lip Fillers Essex

At Snap Beauty Salon, we currently offer several Dermal Filler services, areas currently offered are lips, cheeks, nano-labial folds, marionette lines, tear trough, jaw and chin.

Dermal fillers consist of a naturally occurring substance known as hyaluronic acid which can be injected into the face and hands. This draws moisture to it which increases the volume that has been lost due to the ageing process.

The average treatment time for a dermal filler treatment is around 30 minutes. We assess your existing concern and talk with you the entire process to assure you’re best informed and we get the best result for you. A topical anaesthetic will be applied whilst having this treatment, most describe mild discomfort whilst having this treatment. There is minimal downtime, however, it’s best to give yourself 48 hours to recover.

Our aesthetic practitioners use the market leading facial fillers available such as Juvederm, Intraline, Radiesse and Teosyal. We offer such a wide range of products to be able to cater to every client need when having fillers. Our practitioners Dr Isra and Nurse Yvette are highly trained and experienced aesthetic practitioners. Both have trained under prestigious Harley Street clinics and continue to practice within their medical professions as well as being aesthetic practitioners.

Effects of dermal fillers are immediately noticeable, however, it can take one week to achieve the full effect. Dermal fillers can last up to 6-12 months.

Dermal Filler FAQ's

All of our aesthetic practitioners are from a medical background. They are highly trained from various clinics in Harley Street, London. We want to provide the best possible standard of practice for our clients.

Injections always bring some degree of pain. The Botox anti-wrinkle injections are almost painless and require no surface numbing however fillers tend to be more uncomfortable so we always apply topical numbing cream before injecting. Some of the fillers we use also have local anaesthetic in them.

Side effects for anti-wrinkle injections are minimal and have been used for decades to treat other medical conditions including excessive sweating but we advise against it if you have any neuromuscular  disorders (e.g. Myasthenia Gravis).
For both antiwrinkle and filler injections we advise against them during breastfeeding and pregnancy or if you have any allergies to Botulium Toxin®️, hyaluronic acid or lidocaine
We always warn clients to expect some bruising however it depends on how prone you are to bruising. Some medications mean you are more prone to bleeding or bruising (e.g. aspirin). But bruising is always temporary and doesn’t affect the final result. Other things to expect are swelling, redness, discomfort and small risk of infection (so follow instructions given!)

Fillers last up to 6-18 months depending on where they are injected. It all depends on how quickly your body breaks it all back down again. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring compound in the body that attracts water to it giving you the plump look but in time, your body breaks it down. The rate is different from person to person.
